About me
Certified French and Spanish Teacher for Adults
My name is Oksana Ortiz, and I’m from Ukraine.
I have been passionate about foreign languages since childhood, starting with English. I later learned French (2012) and Spanish (2014), earning internationally recognized diplomas: DELF and DELE.
After moving to Quebec with my Mexican husband, I fully immersed myself in both French and Spanish. Today, I speak these languages daily with native speakers.
I have traveled extensively — France, Switzerland, Mexico, Spain, the Dominican Republic — which enriches my teaching and allows me to share authentic, living language experiences.
I founded LinguaStar in 2009 and have over 16 years of experience teaching adults for travel, immigration, work, or daily life.
